Gresham House has secured a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for a 4.3MW solar farm through renewable energy procurement platform Zeigo.
Zeigo said that it was able to complete the PPA for the Leicestershire site swiftly and at a good price.
Wayne Cranstone, investment director at Gresham House, said they were “delighted” to work with Zeigo, and looking forward to working together to secure the best possible PPAs.
Zeigo’s platform integrates machine learning algorithms to advance the process of contracting clean energy, and can be used as a PPA marketplace, for portfolio management and automated tender processes as well as more.
Gresham’s PPA follows Downing LLP signing a PPA for two of its solar farms in Devon using Zeigo’s online renewables procurement platform in January.
JP Cerda, CEO of Zeigo said: “We are happy to partner with Gresham House to provide them with the end-to-end utility PPA service.
“From setting their preferences, right through to execution of the contract. This is a vital step as the Zeigo platform looks to disrupt the current PPA market in the UK.”
