PV wholesaler Midsummer Energy has rebranded to bring a “modern and distinctive feel” to the business as it moves to a new head office and sets sights on expansion.
It has reworked the logo, colour scheme and font the company has used for the past 15 years to “reflect its position” as one of the UK’s fastest-growing distributors, according to the Midsummer. The rebrand comes shortly after it was shortlisted for Distributor of the year at the Solar & Storage Awards 2020.
The business has also opened the doors to a new head office in Milton, Cambridgeshire. Midsummer said the facility will be used to scale its distribution business through greater stock availability and an expanded product range as the country’s renewables sector continues to grow.
Midsummer will preview the new branding through a digital marketing campaign on Linkedin throughout December, which will both showcase the wholesaler’s new look and reflect on its early years.
Jamie Vaux, Midsummer’s commercial director said this month was “the perfect time to refresh the brand following our recent award nomination, consecutive years of growth and of course our 15th anniversary.”
Midsummer Energy signed a string of new partners in January on the back of sales doubling last year.
Founder Andy Rankin said the company had “come a long way from our modest beginnings. We’ve stayed true to our principles from the outset of delivering the most innovative products at great prices, alongside fantastic customer service. I feel our new brand reflects this perfectly and look forward to seeing Midsummer grow.”
