Electric vehicle charge point supplier Evolt has bolstered its team by adding ex-Energy Saving Trust expert Stephen Rennie as its business development manager for Scotland.

During his time at Energy Saving Trust Rennie served as its programme manager for EVs, helping deliver 16 low-carbon transport programmes including the delivering of loan funds, fleet advice and driver training.

Evolt is a recent addition to EST’s Scottish framework agreement for EV charging points, and Rennie will work on the programme alongside both central and local government, Transport Scotland, and other associated businesses.

Justin Meyer, general manager at Evolt, said of Rennie’s appointment: “He has proven to be a serious influencer in the Scottish EV charge point market ever since Transport Scotland began offering grants in 2011.

“We are confident that he can use that in-depth knowledge and passion to ensure Evolt continues to be the number one charge point supplier in Scotland.”
