NEC Energy Solutions has announced Dale Power Solutions as its first qualified UK partner for the manufacturer’s distributed storage solution.
Under the deal, announced on the show floor on the opening day of Solar & Storage Live, Dale will be tasked with the development of NEC’s behind-the-meter storage projects and are currently working on a number of installations that are at various stages of completion.
The projects will focus on frequency response and transmission charge management applications, utilising NEC Energy Solutions’ energy storage platform specifically designed for C&I market.
Dale is to act as a reseller and independent contractor for NEC Energy Solutions, conducting design, installation, and O&M works for NEC’s C&I customers.

Meanwhile Tim Wilkins, chief executive officer at Dale, said that NEC had the solutions, expertise and experience its customers sought.
